up against a giant
Let’s face it. Nashville is huge. Hollywood is huge. And we’re up against them. We’re going up against record labels with budgets the size of Manhattan and soundboards the size of Rhode Island.
And we can do it. We can take back our CD players and worship services for the glory of God with music that strives for excellence.
Why do I say that? Because I believe God honors those who stand up for integrity, who obey His command to take everything captive for His glory. Quite frankly, Christian music today, for the most part, doesn’t — and we’re changing that.
But we have to stand together. “A threefold cord is not quickly broken.” (Ecclesiastes 4:12) As teens, we’re even more affected by peer pressure — and without a group of kids who feel the same way we do, most of us won’t buck the trend.
